We prepare young people for careers in emergency medical services. 

During the 5 month program, students are paid a stipend as they receive life coaching from trained professionals, mentorship from Albuquerque Fire Fighters and Paramedics, and EMT training from the University of New Mexico.
The program experience combines:
  • Curriculum designed around students' skills and abilities
  • Supports students' need to succeed
  • Housing for students outside Albuquerque area
  • Assistance finding jobs after they graduate
Applicants should be aged 18 to 26, live in the state of New Mexico, have a valid drivers license and have a high school diploma or GED.
